Cheap doctors

Confucius said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”1 ⇑
But the people who run the NHS have misinterpreted this quote. It emphatically doesn’t mean, “Choose a job you love, and you’ll stick around while they nickel and dime you out of a fair wage.”
The BMA reports that, adjusted for inflation, consultants and doctors in training have seen a 13% pay cut since 2008.2
