Two Canadians, a doctor and a filmmaker, have begun a hunger strike a month after being detained without charges during recent unrest in Egypt.
Tarek Loubani, assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Western Ontario, and John Greyson have been held in Cairo’s Tora prison since they were detained on 16 August.
