Hospitalitis is the pervasive, but unrecognized, depersonaliztion and derealization of patients and their families, including doctors and nurses, who feel the hospital is an impersonal, frightening phantasmagoria of gory dysphoria, betterment, bafflement, abandonment, and payment.
