Re: Measuring hospital clinical outcomes

The BMJ 'allows a mixture of English and American spelling depending on the provenance and main target audience of an article'. This article is aimed at a British audience in the wake of Mid Staffs and our sensibilities are affected by the spelling of words as center rather than centre and organization rather than organisation. The BMJ is a British publication foremost, which uses Chambers dictionary as a guide, where centre is spelt as it should be, with an re. Otherwise, before we know it we will be delivering 'patient centered' care.
