Whistleblower abandons his case and resigns from Alder Hey Children’s Hospital

A whistleblowing paediatric surgeon has given up his High Court battle to try to save his job and has resigned with immediate effect four days into an expected five day hearing.

Edwin Jesudason won an injunction last July stopping Alder Hey Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust holding a meeting at which he would have been dismissed.
