Is bioethics a bully?

Sokol claims that bioethics “adopts a paternalistic attitude towards clinicians” yet states that “clinicians are easy targets and, without a command of the fancy theories and language of the accusers, possess few means to respond formally.”1 This itself infantilises clinicians, while adopting a collaborative stance towards our colleagues.
