Without the fund, services at the trusts—Barking, Havering and Redbridge; St Helens & Knowsley; South London; Peterborough and Stamford; North Cumbria; Dartford and Gravesham; and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells—would be at risk, said the Department of Health.
