Two points, if I may:

1. This article could have usefully mentioned that Sickling is also found in Greece and India (though not commonly).

2. Konotey-Ahulu challenged the use of diamorphine. This could be described as a matter of life and death.

Could NICE please tell us what the present recommendations are?
