In this Filler article by Jeff Aronson (BMJ 2012;344:e1453, doi:10.1136/bmj.e1453) two errors were added to the figure during editing. For the item in the late 1500s on the meaning of lickerish, the definition should have included “eagerly desirous [not desirious].” The item in the early 1600s should also have been for lickerish [not lickerous], but this time meaning lecherous.
