Ice in the mouth for epistaxis

Hard to believe, but try and you will see.
A small piece of white paper under the tongue may stop instantly a nose bleeding[tip from Didier Grandgeorge , M.D].[don't know if coloured paper would do the same....!?]
Have seen this [or was reported to me] on various occasions.
