Scottish physicians withdraw their support for health bill in England

The list of leading medical organisations opposing the government’s Health and Social Care Bill has increased with the decision of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh to withdraw its support.
The college stopped short of calling for the full withdrawal of the bill as has been demanded by other organisations, including the BMA, but says it cannot support the legislation in its current form.
