Should “legal highs” be regulated as medicinal products?

In this Personal View by Michael Evans-Brown and colleagues (BMJ 2011;342:d1101, doi:10.1136/bmj.d1101), the final sentence of the fifth paragraph should have also mentioned other regulations as well as the Medicines Act 1968. It should therefore read: “The maximum penalty under the Medicines Act 1968 and related regulations is two years’ imprisonment and an unlimited fine on indictment.”
