After qualifying, Stuart Gerard McPhee completed his house jobs in Ninewells Hospital before embarking on GP training, which took him to Stracathro Hospital and to his trainee year in Brechin. He passed his MRCGP in 1995, and in 1997 he moved back to Glasgow and settled into partnership in the Turret Medical Centre in Kirkintilloch.
