No fault compensation will not incur significant extra costs, say Scots experts

The introduction of a system of no fault compensation for medical injuries has taken a step forward in Scotland after backing by an influential panel of experts.

The Scottish government is now to investigate the practical and financial implications of introducing such a scheme to replace the current system where injured patients have to prove negligence in the courts.
