The author of this Endgames case report, Sagarika Ray, has confirmed that the units used for cortisol and ammonia in the patient outcome section were incorrect (BMJ 2010;341:c4626, doi:10.1136/bmj.c4626). The correct concentrations are cortisol 1351 nmol/l (120-620 nmol/l) and ammonia 82 µmol/l (5-100 µmol/l).
