Brenda Moffat Dudley (née MacAdam) followed the family tradition of entering into a medical career, and, after qualifying, worked at the Whittington Hospital, London Chest Hospital, and the Royal Brompton Hospital. She later combined part time hospital work with raising a young family, becoming a justice of the peace in 1972, and assuming active roles in the local Mencap Society and United Reformed Church. After retiring from medical work in 1998, she continued to serve the community in a variety of ways, and enjoyed long distance walking and canal boating. She leaves a husband, Graham; three daughters; and three grandchildren.
