Re: Female stress urinary incontinence

A systematic review and network meta-analysis of clinical outcomes after pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatments for urinary incontinence in women, based on 84 randomized controlled trials, concluded that behavioral therapy was more effective than all existent pharmacologic therapies in treating both stress and urgency urinary incontinence.
Administration of hormones or injections of periurethral bulking agents were not effective.
