BMJ pico—a window into the future?

We have been invited to join the BMJ pico pilot study1 but can’t decide.
Some of us are dubious about doing more work on a paper which has already been rewritten four times; others fear that publishing just an abstract in the print journal will diminish our work’s visibility.1
