Rapid responses are electronic comments to the editor. They enable our users
to debate issues raised in articles published on bmj.com. A rapid response
is first posted online. If you need the URL (web address) of an individual
response, simply click on the response headline and copy the URL from the
browser window. A proportion of responses will, after editing, be published
online and in the print journal as letters, which are indexed in PubMed.
Rapid responses are not indexed in PubMed and they are not journal articles.
The BMJ reserves the right to remove responses which are being
wilfully misrepresented as published articles or when it is brought to our
attention that a response spreads misinformation.
From March 2022, the word limit for rapid responses will be 600 words not
including references and author details. We will no longer post responses
that exceed this limit.
The word limit for letters selected from posted responses remains 300 words.
I agree with Dr Nehrlich that the not so subtle terminology change,
from ‘global warming’ to ‘climate change’, is interesting and in my
opinion may simply be a tactical shift away from what is fast becoming a
controversy and a liability. The dynamics in the Sun activity are the
main driving force behind all climate change on this planet and they had a
major effect long before homo sapiens, aka homo stupidissimus, climbed
down from the trees.
However, human activity has influenced Nature, always for the worse,
including a detrimental effect on humans, and it falls under the term ‘man
-made environmental disasters’. The whole of Europe is one huge example
of a total destruction of the original animal habitats that had
corresponded to the Roman term ‘hinc sunt leones’, deforestation of what
became known as badlands in North America, a total, senseless and
continuing destruction of many rainforests and rivers in Australia, and of
course, lest we forget, a continuing wholesale destruction of soil
fertility all over the ‘developed’ world by, what is a misnomer,
‘agricultural science’, and, a wholesale man-made physical and mental
health destruction by vaccines and orthodox medications.
All these examples of stupidity have been supported by governments of
all kinds. Instead of chasing CO2 (the essential food for the trees who
take in C02 and release O2), we should all join forces and stop these man-
made environmental disasters. The present looming man-made health
disaster, when the planned vaccine is brought into the picture, is the
alleged and diligently persistently whipped-up swine flu pandemic
(potentially lucrative) misinformation, aka ‘the emperor’s new clothes’.
One could be forgiven for thinking that the politicians and bureaucrats
reporting on yet another case of swine flu are joking; no, they are
serious (!) and blind to the fact that they are making fools of
themselves. They tell people not to panic, but they are deliberately
trying to create panic themselves. What is the real reason for costing
small business millions, by deliberately preventing thousands of ship
passengers from disembarking and spending their dollars, and otherwise
interfering in our day-to-day business and lives? Are the health
authorities just trying to show who the real boss is?
Now about that elusive “saving of lives” by orthodox medicine by
stopping climate change. To blame 90% of deaths from malnutrition,
diarrhoea, and malaria on climate change is as absurd as saying that
because most people die in their beds, the bed is the most dangerous place
so we should panic and chop up our beds into smithereens. What the
politicians and all of us should really strive for is saving children and
young adults from premature, untimely deaths that are directly related to
the undercutting of their health by too many medical interventions right
from birth. I am referring to teenage asthma deaths, Kawasaki disease in
children and young adults (heart failure due to aneurisms and other damage
to the cardiovascular system by vaccines), brain tumours caused by SV40,
one of many monkey viruses contaminating the polio vaccines to this day.
Yes, in the real, observed world, a 14-day treatment of the vaccine
brews by 1:4000 solution of formaldehyde, the process which is supposed to
resolve the problem of polio vaccine contamination, is incomplete due to
asymptotic factor (most of the viruses are inactivated within a few hours,
but afterwards there is a live viable residue indefinitely) and even the
inactivated SV40 viruses then revert back to the original virulence when
introduced into the polio vaccines recipients; they are aptly called
revertants (Gerber et al, Inactivation of vacuolating virus (SV40) by
formaldehyde. Proc Soc Exp Biol Med 1961,108, 205 – 209; Fenner 1962, The
reactivation of animal viruses. BMJ 21 July 1962, 135-142). The continued
epidemic of these characteristic tumours is taken by pro-vaccinators as
evidence that SV40 does not cause them, while in fact that is the evidence
that the vaccine brews have not been effectively cleaned up. Even
mesothelioma of the lung (so called asbestos disease) needs SV40 present
in the system. It is admitted that about 20% of mesothelioma sufferers
have never been exposed to asbestos. SV40 can be freely transferred from
babies and small children to their carers, especially by handling their
nappies, which explains why so many medical doctors and grandparents
develop such characteristic SV40 brain tumours. Scary? Yes, and it should
be.
According to BMJ 2000 (10 June) article “Doctors’ strike in Israel
may be good for health”, when doctors in Israel went on strike between
March and September 2000, the overall death rate fell by 40 percent. So
who reported this? Who else, the funeral parlours. It hit them at the hip
pocket.
Apart from the fact that anthropogenic climate change is a figment of
someone's CO2-starved imagination I would like to point out two simple
truths.
1. There is little if anything meaningful that human efforts can accomplish to make a difference in Climate Change.
2. However, if there were something we could do, the number of individuals saved from adverse effects or
certain death would pale in comparison to the number that are regularly hurt or killed by our once so honourable profession.
I further suggest that we could make a real difference if
doctoring went back to, say the nineteen fifties. It was then fashionable
to make sick people well by making every effort toward curing their
diseases.
I note a recent shift away from the term Global Warming, is that
because Climate Change is so much more flexible?

Will homo sapiens ever become true to his name?
