    Oxfam has called for better information on the role of the private sector in health care in developing countries, while simultaneously demanding that the World Bank, bilateral donors, and private foundations cease to support programmes or policies that would work with the private sector.1 Oxfam bases this call on data that are thin, selective, and distorted.
