QOF calculator for prevalence changes
The BMA has developed a calculator to assess the effect on GP income of forthcoming changes to how prevalence is weighted in the quality and outcomes framework. From 1 April 2009 prevalence figures will no longer have to be square rooted, and from 1 April 2010 the 5% cut off at the bottom of the national range of prevalence will be removed.
