Death rates at Harefield to be reviewed: The Healthcare Commission is working with the national specialised commissioning team to review heart transplant services at Harefield Hospital, Middlesex, after a rise in mortality after heart transplants at the hospital. The review will determine whether the care patients received was appropriate and report back in one month. The commission will decide what further action is necessary.
