Cash incentive still not enough: The Australian rural medical practice offering a $A500 000 (£210 000; €310 000; $420 000) lump sum to any GP, anaesthetist, and obstetrician willing to move there says not one city based or recently qualified doctor has applied for the post (BMJ 2007;334:1292, 23 Jun doi: 10.1136/bmj.39251.641736.4E).
