Medical students from 65 countries gathered in Chile — In March, 520 international medical students met during the 55th International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) General Assembly meeting in Pucon, Chile, hosted by students from IFMSA-Chile. The theme of the meeting was to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, and there were various workshops and roundtable events that raised awareness of the first United Nations Millennium Development Goal.
