Do you sometimes imagine yourself as an old person? I guess you do, because ageing is part of our natural evolution. Have you also considered that at a certain age you might become dependent on other people for your basic needs? This is a useful exercise that you can apply to your medical training. No matter the specialty you choose, most of your future patients will be more than 60 years old, and you will be unable to avoid dealing with old patients who are disabled.
