Israel welcomes Palestinian membership - At the March meeting of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), IFMSA-Palestine became a member for the first time. Representing about 300 students at Palestine's only medical faculty, at Al-Quds University, Jerusalem, IFMSA-Palestine runs many projects which contribute to the health and wellbeing of their community. Membership of the international family of IFMSA was a long time dream of Anas Eid, president of IFMSA-Palestine. Most moving of all, the Federation of Israeli Medical Students spoke to pledge their support.
