Medics worldwide: news and opportunites from the IFMSA

A preventable disease: More than 600 medical students from more than 80 countries spent a week in Ohrid, Macedonia. They heard about the impact of violence on health from Alex Butchart of the World Health Organization and other speakers from the Global Campaign to Prevent Violence. The issue was brought alive by a moving performance by Israeli actress Naomi Ackerman.
