Unfortunately, unless you are one of the select few who are given honorary membership later in their careers, you will have to pass the exam for membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). This has a multiple choice written section, a longer written section, and a clinical section (PACES). There are numerous centres around the world where the exam can be taken. For more information, try the Royal College of Physicians website (www.rcplondon.ac.uk/professional/exam/exam_mrcp.htm).
