From 3 to 9 August, the Macedonian Medical Students'; Association is hosting the IFMSA General Assembly. Five hundred medical students from up to 90 countries will spend a week by Lake Ohrid (www.ifmsa.org/meetings).
Violence: a preventable disease?
As well as the usual wide range of activities, students will have the opportunity to learn more about this meeting';s theme-violence and health. Topics include detecting and preventing abuse in your patients, the challenges of working in conflict zones, and international efforts to reduce global violence.
