*Most admissions in pilot site 19 were to gastroenterology. The increase in percentage of patients waiting with a date did not necessarily reflect increased booking activity because many patients were allocated a "to come in" date on receipt of a GP referral for endoscopy (that is, patients not referred to outpatients). Hence, for this pilot the large proportion of patients waiting with a date does not indicate a high level of booking activity.
