Serbian doctors strike for a 40% pay increase

More than 13 000 doctors in Serbia have gone on strike calling for a 40% increase in their pay and higher status.
Two thirds of the country's 20 000 doctors at almost 150 medical institutions across the country have been working to limited hours for almost one month and say they are prepared to go on full strike.
