A London man was last week convicted of grievous bodily harm for infecting two women with HIV, in the first successful prosecution of its kind in England and Wales.
Mohammed Dica, 37, a father of three, told police that both women had known he was infected, but the women denied this. His first victim, who remains unnamed, said he claimed he had had a vasectomy and needed no protection.
