Medical examiner the Benefits Agency (b Southport, Lancashire, 1948; q Dundee 1972; DCH), d 18 September 2002.
Linda originally trained as a general practitioner before our children were born. She intended to resume her career when the children were older but this became too difficult when she developedinsulin dependent diabetes. She maintained her medical interest by doing domiciliary medicals for the Benefits Agency. Her spare time was devoted to our home and to supporting our children in their activities. We organised fundraising garden parties for Diabetes UK and our social life centred around our tennis tournaments for our friends.
