Learning right from … inappropriate

I suspect that the age at which the concept of “appropriateness” is introduced may be getting younger.
Perhaps its just me, or have “appropriate” and “inappropriate” become catch all terms for the new millennium? Once these terms were reserved for use by academics, but now it seems that everyones using them: teachers, market researchers, even sports commentators. No one, nowadays, is just plain wrong.
