AIDS in a “state of flux” in Asia, says UN report

HIV infection and AIDS are in a dynamic state of flux in Asia, and national average figures are no longer meaningful as epidemics have yet to mature, a new report has cautioned. “In the last two years, the picture has changed dramatically,” said the report by Monitoring the AIDS Pandemic, a group funded bythe Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS and the US Agency for International Development.
