An interesting and a potentially useful service for doctors hoping to get papers published can be found at www.publist.com/indexes/health.html. This lists publications (both conventional print and online publications) and provides data about the names of the journals, editors, contact details, etc. Just over 15 000 medical titles are listed, conveniently divided into specialties, and there is an in-house search engine. Of course, you are not restricted to medicine in this site: altogether there are 150 000 publications catalogued, which can be accessed through the home page, www.publist.com …
