GMC clears doctors on accidental morphine overdose

Two doctors who were accused of covering up an accidental overdose of morphine administered to a baby born seven weeks prematurely were found not guilty of serious professional misconduct by the General Medical Council (GMC) last week. The junior doctor who prepared the drug, at 100 times the intended amount, for one day old Louise Wood was also cleared.
