Welsh hospital recruits Filipino nurses

A Welsh hospital which has recruited 18 Filipino nurses has encountered confrontation from nursing unions. Fifteen of the nurses arrived at Llandough Hospital in Cardiff this week as a result of a recruitment drive launched in the Philippines after attempts to get staff elsewhere had failed.
