Heart attacks linked to pollution

    One in 50 heart attacks treated in London hospitals may be triggered by outdoor air pollution, according to a seven year survey. If this was applied across Britain it would mean that up to 6000 heart attacks a year could potentially be avoided if there was better control of exhaust emissions.
