    WHO WAS FULLER?

    Who was so and so? is a favourite question on ward rounds, and the correct answer is always (well, almost always) “A nineteenth century French/German/Italian physician/surgeon.” That is not to say that all those who are eponymously represented in medicine belonged to those categories, simply that they seem to be the ones about whom the question is most often asked.
