WHO asks world court's opinion on nuclear weapons

The International Court of Justice in the Hague will have to rule on the legitimacy in international law of nuclear weapons after a request from the World Health Organisation. The world court, as it is also known, is the judicial wing of the United Nations and, as such, the highest international court in the world, although it is not recognised by all countries.
