Australia calls doctors to arms over nuclear testing

Australian doctors are being asked to help the Australian Medical Association in funding a major advertising campaign against French nuclear testing at Mururoa Atoll in the South Pacific. The Australian Faculty of Public Health Medicine has urged all its fellows to help to raise the money for full page advertisements in influential French daily newspapers such as Le Figaro. The body hopes to reach up to 7000 medical professionals in Australia and New Zealand.
