Report identifies research priorities in Britain

Researchers in Britain should develop their work on aging as a “national priority,” says a new government report. The report recommends specific research into progressive degenerative disease such as Alzheimer's disease.

The report, on health and life sciences, is one of five produced under the “technology foresight” initiative announced in the government's 1993 white paper Realising Our Potential.
