Gulf states test foreigners for AIDS

    Foreign nationals entering Saudi Arabia will be asked to produce a certificate saying that they are free of infectious diseases, said the Saudi government last month. They will also be subject to routine tests for HIV.

    Dr Yacoub bin Youssif el Mazroo, a senior official in the health ministry, said that they would be targeting foreign nationals who are in close contact with Saudi citizens.
