One in four births is by caesarean in Florida

    One in four women in Florida has her baby delivered by caesarean section, according to the latest figures from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (FAHCA). The national rate for the US is 23.6% and has risen steadily from 5% in 1964, although figures have fallen since they peaked at 25% in 1988.
