Role Profile - Advisor, BMJ Best Practice US Advisory Panel
This Role Profile describes the details of your role. Unless otherwise defined herein, expressions used in these Terms shall have the meaning set out in your Letter of Appointment. References to BMJ (us, our, we) shall mean BMJ Publishing Group Limited.

During your appointment you shall:
1.1 provide clinical advice on content relevant to your speciality for BMJ Best Practice topics;
1.2 act as a second line of expert support to BMJ’s skilled team of section editors (supplementing advice provided by contributors to individual topics);
1.3 assist BMJ’s section editors with clinical queries which may affect more than one topic area; and
1.4 provide a second opinion on individual topics as may be required.
1.5 have the opportunity to act as a clinical ambassador to promote the best interests of Best Practice and its outreach (for which training and support will be provided).
During your appointment you shall provide:
2.1 strategic advice on the depth of content and scope of topics in those BMJ Best Practice topics which are relevant to your area of expertise;
2.2 provide recommendations for the priority order of new topics; and
2.3 input on strategic and tactical plans to promote BMJ Best Practice.
