Making a tangible difference to the wider healthcare society
“MDDUS has enjoyed a sustained period of growth in recent years and our experience of working with BMJ has been an important and productive one.”
Gaelle Ainslie, Marketing & External Relations Manager, MDDUS
Very few opportunities exist for companies to make a tangible difference to the wider society within which they operate. The BMJ Awards is one such occasion. Each year it attracts category sponsors, who benefit from the brand recognition that only a major publisher can provide.
MDDUS is headline sponsor of The BMJ Awards 2016 and category sponsor of the Primary Care Team of the Year award. This mutual medico-legal and professional indemnity organisation is very much part of the Awards, having been its biggest and most loyal sponsor for eight years.
Gaelle Ainslie, Marketing & External Relations Manager, reflects on the role the Awards have played in the MDDUS marketing strategy:
Gaelle said: "Our goal in sponsoring the Awards is to build and strengthen our brand awareness across the UK. The BMJ provides a particularly strong channel to achieve this with the potential to reach more than 140,000 doctors nationwide."
"The Awards are an important part of our annual marketing schedule and we are keen to maximise the opportunity that they generate. We promote the event across a wide range of MDDUS publications and our social media channels, featuring articles on shortlisted nominees as well as the eventual winners."
"In addition, the Awards night provides an enjoyable platform for MDDUS personnel to meet a wide range of healthcare professionals and leading industry figures."
"MDDUS has enjoyed a sustained period of growth in recent years and our experience of working with BMJ has been an important and productive one."
