You can do this in many ways – on social media, through customer presentations, on the signature of your email, or just in passing.

This toolkit is intended to be used primarily by BMJ staff, but feel free to share it with closely affiliated partners, particularly those who kindly contributed to the making of the report.  A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved.

Better evidence

More than ever, health professionals need rapid access to the best evidence.

Research is the foundation of our business, and we work to strengthen its integrity. We also pioneer patient participation at every level of the publication process.

We do this by working closely with academics, clinicians, patients, and organisations.

Better decisions

Research alone is not enough.  Health professionals must consistently improve their knowledge and skills.

Our digital offerings help clinicians apply the best evidence to make better clinical decisions.

They do this by providing the most up to date guidance, evidence based tools and services.

Better systems

Today’s health systems rely on robust policies and guidelines to deliver the best care for patients.

Our specialist skills and services help organisations improve their processes and achieve results.

We do this with specific health data and economics expertise. We also work to improve transparency through campaigns and investigations.

“At BMJ, our primary purpose is to share knowledge and expertise that improves health outcomes through better evidence, better decisions, and better systems.”
