An interactive virtual workshop

Improvement in quality of care relies on building a healthcare workforce that is trained in evidence-based medicine and updated with the latest medical knowledge and educational resources.

Establishing a successful e-journal allows healthcare professionals to engage in lifelong learning through access to the latest research and evidence, so that they will be able to deliver the best possible care to their patients.

Setting up an e-journal is a complex task. BMJ publishes over 70 medical and allied science journals, and The BMJ is one of the world’s top four most cited general medical journals. Our in-house publishing team are experts in developing and launching successful titles across a range of media that provide healthcare professionals access to unbiased, peer-reviewed, evidence-based content which improves outcomes for patients on a global scale.

As part of the UK Better Health Programme in Thailand, BMJ led a virtual workshop with various stakeholders involved in healthcare workforce development in Thailand to share BMJ’s experience, international best practices and provide strategic implementation guidance in setting up and operating an e-journal in Thailand.
