Locum Consultant in ENT
Applications are invited for the above post, to join our established multidisciplinary team offering exciting opportunities for highly motivated Surgeons. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Surgeon, to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in our recently rated OUTSTANDING Trust.
This is a whole time post and the salary will depend on the experience of the successful candidate with any additional PA agreed annually to meet the service and individual requirements offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated surgeon.
Applicants are required to hold Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK or equivalent qualifications), to be fully registered with the General Medical Council and to be on the Specialist Register or due to obtain their CCT within six months of the date of interview.
This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (with barred list for vulnerable adults and children) disclosure.
The ENT Department provides inpatient and outpatient services at Whiston, St Helens and Newton Hospitals. Inpatient elective work, emergency and outpatient clinic activity undertaken
On the Whiston site with outpatient clinics and a majority of the day case activity being held on the St Helens site.
The successful candidate will be expected to have full registration with the GMC at the time of appointment. Candidates without GMC will progress if shortlisted for interview, though will be expected to have full GMC registration at the time of appointment.
